Does fish and chips bore you – even when you’re by the sea? Well Sunday lunch at a beach city doesn’t have to be boring, not at Wollongong on the NSW south coast that’s for sure. Between its relaxed and cosy scene, fashion-forward menu, and good-looking staff (total marketing ploy for sure – but hey, it works!), Wollongong’s Lower East Café will have you wanting more. But one of the best things about the Lower East Café is the all day breakfast menu on weekends!
The coffee is superb and I can definitely vouch for the Chorizo fry with eggs, oven dried tomato, chargrilled capsicum, basil and feta on sourdough toast!
Planning a visit to Wollongong? The Lower East Café is a must. You can find them at 70 Crown Street, or on Facebook.
